Each Jergens® naturals™ moisturizer contains a paraben-free preservative system that best fits with our natural moisturizing ingredients. Even though parabens have been deemed safe by the cosmetics industry, they are not used as a preservative in Jergens® naturals™ moisturizers.

What about petrochemicals or phthalates?

Jergens® naturals™ moisturizers do not contain the petrochemicals mineral oil or petrolatum and the products are also phthalate free.

Can I recycle my Jergens® naturals™ moisturizer container when it's empty?

All Jergens® moisturizers containers can be recycled. These are #2 (HDPE) plastics, and it's likely that you can simply rinse out the empty container and recycle it along with your other household recyclables.

Jergens® naturals™ moisturizers are unique in that they deliver 100% of their moisturizing and skin-beautifying benefits through natural ingredients. While most mass market moisturizers use animal-derived glycerin to infuse skin with moisture and petroleum-derived mineral oil or petrolatum to seal in that moisture, Jergens® naturals™ moisturizers use vegetable-derived glycerin and four natural oils (soybean, cottonseed, sunflower and jojoba) to perform these functions.
